- 1. If at all possible, visit Paris during the best season.
The best time to visit Paris is discussed in our first Paris travel advice. There is never a terrible moment to visit Paris since it is always a wonderful idea. The city boasts wonderful parks, lovely avenues, and lovely streets, but it also offers some of the top museums in the world, as well as other interesting indoor possibilities.
However, there are a few considerations you might want to make while making travel plans to Paris.
In general, the shoulder seasons of spring and fall are preferable because they are usually less congested and have pleasant temperatures.
Consider traveling to Paris in November, early December, or January if you want to avoid the crowds and save money on things like lodging and transportation.
If you enjoy shopping, think about going to Paris around January or July, when the sales are, since you can get great deals.

2. Make the most of your time, make reservations in advance, and avoid lines! All of Paris's major tourist attractions have frustratingly long queues, unless you go there during the off-season.
In addition to wasting valuable time, standing in line increases the likelihood that you'll be worn out before your visit even begins! The second of my travel advice for Paris is to purchase your tickets in advance for the major attractions.
For your convenience, I've included links to some of my favorite, reliable ticket sellers below the list of major Paris attractions for which you'll require advance tickets.
3. Use mapquest directions (or Verified Private Airport Transfers) We would think that using a regular, authorized cab would be plain sense, but you'd be shocked at how many tourists are still duped!
You can be solicited by someone providing a private cab service at the Paris airports. It can be alluring because it sounds quick and simple (there's no need to look for the cab stand) (not waiting in line). NEVER accept proposals of this nature.
Those unofficial cars don't have meters, so if you're lucky you'll wind up spending much more, and you can't rule out the possibility that such a ride could result in additional unpleasant surprises or risky circumstances.
I advise scheduling a private airport shuttle from the Parisian Airports to the city if you don't want to use public transportation and would rather know the cost of your trip up front.
